Cem is an experienced technology and operational resilience leader. He has an excellent track record on improving the resiliency of complex financial services organisations by creating data driven and practical risk management capabilities across all lines of defense. He is currently a managing director in Nordea, leading the technology resilience, business continuity, and crisis management capabilities. His prior experiences include Llodys Banking Group, PwC, retail banks, investment banks, and FMIs, holding various senior risk and audit roles as well as a short period where he worked as an enterprise architect. Cem is passionate about continuous learning and pursuing simple, practical, and sustainable improvements in all walks of life! He has a bachelors degree in business administration and finance, a masters and Ph.D. on management information systems. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his son and wife travelling, hiking, playing computer games, building (and mostly breaking) AI tools in his homelab.
