Matt Smith is the CEO and Co-Founder of SteelEye, company behind the pioneering integrated trade and communications surveillance platform. Matt has over 20 years of experience in technology and management across North America, Europe and Asia. Prior to SteelEye, he was a senior RegTech product manager at Bloomberg, driving the product evolution of the firm’s regulatory technology solutions, trading systems and analytics platforms. Prior to this, Matt was the Chief Information Officer at Noble Group, a global commodity trading firm where he oversaw regulatory technology, the deployment of big data, and analytics. Throughout his career, Matt has driven major development initiatives and IT infrastructures, including derivative and physical trading systems, ERP solutions, risk systems, finance systems and regulatory solutions.
