Jamie McCollough is the Managing Director and Chief Controls Officer at Barclays, leading the controls organization for UK Corporate (“UKC”), Global Transaction Banking (“GTB”), International Corporate Bank (“ICB”), and Wholesale Lending (“WL”). He sits on the UKCB Executive Committee and the Group Chief Controls Office Leadership Team. With a 30-year career at both JPMorgan Chase Bank and Barclays, Jamie has held leadership roles in Compliance, Risk & Controls across the 1st and 2nd lines. Jamie is recognized for his commitment to excellence, integrity, and accountability. His strategic and collaborative leadership ensures the controls organization works closely with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd line partners and stakeholders to manage key business and firm risks effectively. Jamie grew up on a rural cattle and horse farm, which fostered a strong work ethic and appreciation for nature. He enjoys traveling, exploring new cultures, and values his family life. Jamie lives in London with his husband. In addition to his professional work, Jamie serves on the Advisory Board of the University of East Anglia and as a Governor of St James & St John CoE Primary School, supporting educational excellence and holistic development. He is also committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion, promoting a more inclusive environment for all. Outside of work, Jamie spends time with his husband of 17 years, Kenny, and their 8-year-old twins, Elizabeth and Grayson.
