Jamie McCollough serves as a Managing Director and Chief Controls Officer at Barclays. Jamie leads the controls organisation for the UK Corporate (“UKC”), Global Transaction Banking (“GTB”), International Corporate Bank (“ICB”) and Wholesale Lending (“WL”), setting on the UKCB Executive Committee and Group Chief Controls Office Leadership Team. With an impressive 30-year career spanning both JPMorgan Chase Bank and Barclays, and having held various leadership roles in Compliance, Risk & Controls across the 1st and 2nd lines. Jamie’s career has been marked by a deep commitment to excellence and a passion for fostering a culture of integrity and accountability. His leadership style is characterized by a strategic vision and a collaborative approach, ensuring that the controls organization, working in close collaboration with 1st, 2nd and 3rd line partners and stakeholders, ensure effective management of the business and firm’s most materials risks. On a more personal note, Jamie’s grew up on a rural cattle and horse farm which instilled in him a strong work ethic and love for nature. Jamie is an avid traveller, always eager to explore new cultures and experiences. Family life is a cornerstone of his identity, providing a source of joy and inspiration. He lives in London with his Husband of Beyond his professional achievements, Jamie is dedicated to community service. He serve as on the Advisory Board of the University of East Anglia and is a Governor of St James & St John CoE Primary School, advocating for educational excellence and holistic development. Jamie is also a strong proponent of diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, championing efforts to create a more inclusive and equitable environment for all. Outside of work, Jamie focuses on his family with his husband of 17 years, Kenny, and their 8 year-old girl/boy twins; Elizabeth & Grayson.
