Robin Hobbs is currently the Chief Risk Officer, EMEA and APAC for Bernstein Société Générale, an agency broker and research provider. He has been with Bernstein since 2021, leading the Risk Management Stream during the transition to becoming part of Société Générale, and has responsibility for managing risk within the Firm’s European and Asian operations, including leading on operational resilience. Prior to his current role, he spent 7.5 years as the Chief Risk Officer for BCS Prime Brokerage Limited, a Russia-focused multi-product brokerage, with a broad remit including credit, market, liquidity and operational risk. Previously he spent five years as the Chief Risk Officer for Renaissance Capital Limited, the UK subsidiary of an emerging markets specialist investment bank.
