Yan Hao is a CFA charterholder with over 15 years of experience in the financial sector. He holds a Master’s degree in Finance from the London School of Economics (LSE) and currently serves as the Head of Market and Operational Risk Management at the London branch of Shanghai Pudong Development Bank. In this role, he leads a team responsible for managing market risk, counterparty credit risk, model risk, operational resilience, and operational risk. Before joining Shanghai Pudong Development Bank, Yan began his career at Deutsche Bank through their graduate scheme and later held a position at Fidelity International. His deep expertise spans multiple areas of risk management, underpinned by a strong quantitative, academic, and leadership background. He has also contributed to industry thought leadership, having delivered a speech on Basel III Market Risk Implementation at the Risk Europe conference.
