Jason Shiu is the Compliance Manager at Vanguard, responsible for the firm’s surveillance programme and operations across the Europe region. Within the Surveillance team, he leads initiatives to strengthen conduct and market-abuse monitoring across the business (trading, investment, and distribution activities). His remit spans trade surveillance, e-communications monitoring, and control room functions. Jason also collaborates globally with other Vanguard surveillance units to ensure alignment and consistency across regions. Prior to joining Vanguard in 2022, he held surveillance roles at GAM Investments and Eaton Vance. He holds a Master’s in Law, Business and Management and a Bachelor of Laws.
