Jack Gallagher, CFA is the Head of Risk and Controls, COO and Risk Partner to the CEO at M&G Investments, where he leads on enhancing the risk and controls agenda across Asset Management working closely with Business teams and other risk partners and COO’s across business areas and jurisdictions. Jack is responsible for overseeing non-financial risk and controls testing within the first line and coordinating risk aggregation on behalf of M&G Group. Jack has been with M&G for over 6 years, having previously held a role within the first line risk function of the Private Markets business, covering Real Estate, Infrastructure, Private Equity, Private Credit, Structured Finance and Leveraged Loans. Prior to joining M&G, Jack spent 8 years at Northern Trust, holding roles as a Risk Consultant within the Asset Management business as well as roles across Transfer Agency, Fund Accounting, Custody, and Management Company services.
