Oliver Geffroy is a qualified German lawyer and Senior Managing Director in Banking with a focus on Non-Financial Risk Management. He has over 25 years’ experience in leading international banks and law firms. Oliver previously served as the first Chief Compliance and Chief Operational Risk Officer for Bank of America in Europe and most recently worked as Global Head of Central, Infrastructure and Conduct Risk Compliance at Deutsche Bank. Oliver has held national, regional and global Risk and Compliance eadership roles in the UK, Germany, Ireland, France and South Africa for firms like BofA, DB, RBS and Barclays. He also worked as M&A banker and lawyer at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein, Credit Suisse First Boston and Linklaters LLP in the early 2000s. Today, Oliver acts as CEO of Geffroy International Group, driving the firm’s strategy of advising and investing in promising business efforts across Europe. Oliver also serves as Independent Non-Executive Director on the Board of The Politics Project, a Manchester- and London-based non-partisan democratic education and engagement organisation supporting young people to use their voice, and is engaged in a variety of other charitable efforts in his hometown Frankfurt am Main.
