Katie Whitmore – Chief Internal Audit, Aegon Asset Management Katie Whitmore leads the global audit function at Aegon Asset Management, bringing over 20 years of international experience across asset management, banking, and professional services in the UK, US, and Europe. Prior to joining Aegon, she held senior audit leadership roles at Invesco, including Regional Head of the Americas and EMEA, following her start as UK Audit Director in 2015. Her earlier career includes audit and control roles at Aviva Investors, Citibank, and Ernst & Young. She holds a master’s in Business & Economics, is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, and has recently completed a second master’s in Finance Analytics, with a focus on machine learning and big data.
