Christopher Grundy is Executive Director and Global Head of IB Operational Risk Control Strategy & Execution at UBS. With over two decades of experience spanning operational risk, compliance, and finance, Christopher leads the second line of defence for UBS Investment Bank, Non-Core and Legacy, and Group Treasury. He is responsible for global NFR deliverables, thematic reviews, and strategic oversight of data management controls and AI governance. His career includes senior roles in risk control, SOX compliance, product control and audit, with prior experience at Deutsche Bank, CSFB, and PwC. Christopher is a Chartered Accountant and holds a BSc (Hons) in Geography from Newcastle University
